Well... I spent hours looking for a "path" and "mats" for the bathroom. I wanted anthracite grey. I went through ALL the reviewers' photos and seemed to see all the different shades of gray. So. I posted my question. I received 4 replies. One told me she bought a burgundy one and couldn't help in any way (then why answer?). I answer a lot of questions that are posted and if I don't know I just say so. One said "It's closer to light grey." Another said "dark grey" and a fourth said "charcoal". God's grace. Well, I bought them anyway. can you send back I was excited to get them and crossed my fingers at the same time. They arrived. Disappointment. I would say that one was dark gray and the other is more of anthracite. I ran my hands all over the stack to try and bring them together. Vain. And besides, I would NOT do this every time I go to the bathroom because the color variation would drive me crazy! They will be returned to Revain in a box. You can see in the picture a comparison with a real hard charcoal colored carpet that I bought in the store. I needed this color with some kind of design. Back in the store I go and find what I was looking for. $10 cheaper. Brand name (rhymes with Troyhill) and MUCH more. However, these rugs appear to be well made. Why two different shades of gray, one can only guess. One didn't look washed? And for the price? Definitely high for the size of the rugs they have.
