This product is a great camera cover but does not work well on a Mac laptop. The problem is that there are things to the left and right of the actual camera that shouldn't be closed, and there's no way to set that without closing it. To the right of the camera is the camera LED indicator. Closing this gives you no indication of whether the camera is on or off. When the cover is mounted on this side, the LED is not visible whether the cover is open or closed. This makes it more likely to accidentally share unintended images if you forget to close the camera and don't see the LED, I think. To the left of the camera is an ambient light sensor (difficult to see). If you attach the cover on this side, your screen will not automatically dim/brighten as the lighting in the room changes. I suspect other devices will have similar issues if they have displays/sensors within half an inch of the camera, so check yours. You may have to shine a powerful flashlight to see some of the thinner sensors. Aside from these issues, the device is fine. He's not overloaded. He does exactly what needs to be done. I put one on my tablet and my phone's front camera. Due to the same sensor issues as a Mac laptop and noise in the body of the phone I have, it doesn't match the rear camera.
