They were too small. My Shimano cycling shoes are US size 9.7, which is smaller than 75% of men's feet in the world. . According to the manufacturer table, I had to buy an X-Large. They're not very close together at the back. At the time, I had a pair of XX-Larges that went well with my shoes. But the XX-Large didn't have enough Velcro to wrap tightly around the ankles. They were VERY loose around the ankles which let in cold air. I have no idea why they want them styled that way. I had to sew on more velcro to make them fit snugly around my ankles. except for the loose ankle strap issue. It makes no sense that someone whose foot is smaller than 75% of the male feet in the world needs an XX-Large. After getting the XX-Large and then adding an extra Velcro strap to them, they did a good job of keeping my feet warm. There are no other problems with them.
