Review on 🖨️ Original HP 950/951 Ink Cartridges (4-Pack) for HP OfficeJet Series - Eligible for Instant Ink by Marvin Breezy

I foolishly bought third party cartridges which were terrible. After learning my lesson, I bought genuine HP replacement cartridges as soon as possible. Everything was fine until I opened the box. I was surprised to see that none of the cartridges were individually sealed like every other HP (or brand for that matter) toner cart in the past. I replaced the magenta first and instead of seeing "Genuine HP Toner" on the LCD, I got an unknown toner cartridge. Just not again! I went to Staples and bought the same pack there for $$$$ and yes they were individually wrapped and Cart M was recognized by the printer. The boxes looked the same except the date stamps on the back were different (the staples had an earlier date). Looking at the cartridges, the staples have lighter magenta and yellow indicator rings, and the plastic appears to have a slightly different texture. I don't know if they are fake or if the HP quality has dropped a lot. Having a Brother laser printer and changing brands because their cartridges suddenly started leaking and deteriorating almost immediately didn't surprise me. Given that a pack of toner cartridges (laser or inkjet) costs roughly the same as a printer, it's almost more tempting to just buy a new printer every time I run out of toner! That's probably why they're all switching to "starter" toner kits! Pros: - True HP box. Cons - Expensive - Unrecognizable. The whole idea was to get genuine cartridges to make the dumb printer happy and give me all the functionality (and color quality) I was looking for before buying horrible third party cartridges. 1 star Amazon, not satisfied at all.
