I'm on the level... An amazing level!

First I have to say it's such a pleasure to hold something so well designed and so well made. Let me run through a few that I think stand out: - Again, so well done! No burrs in the metal and no flaws in the paint or housing. Everything is tight and clean. The overall picture is characterized by strength, precision and craftsmanship. It appears to have been built to a very high standard. Exactly! They are so confident in its accuracy that they print the tolerance directly on the spirit level. While I don't have an exact way to test it, I've found it to give the same readings as my other levels. - Easy to read bubble. There is a 20% lens over the bubble which eases my old eyes. The green tint also helps highlight the blister. The rubber end caps fit snugly and protect the plane in a fall...and protect my walls when I swing my arms like a gorilla. Being a 24 inch level I find it much more rewarding to use than my longer level due to its ease of use and accuracy. Its size makes it easy to pack and carry along with my other tools and gear. The bottom itself has a very professional round finish (see picture). Very flat texture but I can feel it with my fingers and it helps not to slip on inclined surfaces. Another subtle feature that really pushes this level into pro territory. The level is manufactured in Austria and the main office is in America (Illinois). Quezon joined SOLA. So many great features that you will see in the SOLA levels are also in this Keson level. Both are top notch brands/instruments in my opinion. I can't say enough good things about this level. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you buy one.

Pros
  • Two-piece shock absorbing end caps with non-slip surface to protect against fall damage
Cons
  • I say no
