Review on Cleto Reyes Hybrid Boxing Special by John Banks

Before all my gloves were faux leather so this is my first set of real gloves so this is my pick. You are wonderful! The smell, the workmanship, the feeling (after breaking in) are first class. I haven't weighed them to see how close they are to 16oz, but they appear to be heavier than any of my previous 16oz gloves - no problem, I don't mind the weight. As I said, after breaking in, the feeling is excellent. In the first few weeks my hands hurt, especially my joints. The padding is great again, only very firm when worn, but loosens over time. The lace and strap combo is perfect for the solo trainer. I tie them pretty tight, then just put them on and use the strap. Oh and purple is legal
