This ThermoPro meat thermometer works as advertised. I bought this on May 25th, 2019 and used it to cook a 3lb 3lb Tomahawk Ribeye in the oven at 275 degrees and set the ThermoPro to 120 degrees. At 113 degrees I started heating my cast iron skillet. As planned, the alarm went off at 120 degrees. I immediately tossed my steak into a cast-iron skillet with some fresh Kerry Gold Irish butter, along with fresh thyme from my local Whole Foods. 1 minute on each side to brown and 30 seconds on each side. The perfect crust-to-crust back fry for a wonderfully juicy, delicious, restaurant-style medium-rare steak. I was so happy. I recommend this product as this ThermoPro takes the guesswork out of cooking, especially baking. Competitors' products go up to $100, and this one is just under $16. Can't win!
