Everything works as advertised. The only problem is that instead of regular steel cable they used spiral steel cable which is too difficult to use as it tends to get back into a twisted state. If you have a bike rack like me, trying to block the bikes with this tether is like trying to solve a puzzle of how to properly thread the tether through the bikes. I have an alternative solution: use a deadbolt lock instead. cable and buy a steel cable at your local hardware store to use with the lock. It will be significantly easier to use and give you the same guarantee and convenience as using your car keys.
