I've wanted to buy the best cage for my birds for a long time, but cages can be very expensive! I was a little worried that the cage might be too cramped for my lovebirds, but it's not and it's big enough for them to have lots of perches and toys! My birds are shy and used to hide under paper in their old cage when they were scared and sometimes slept like this. Hopefully with this cage they can get rid of this habit and feel more secure. This cage got to me fairly quickly so I had no issues with the packaging. It was easy to put together, just be patient and maybe an extra hand if you have trouble. If you received a bent cage in the mail, you can easily fix it with pliers. I had to use it but honestly I didn't mind because it's not heavy and that doesn't mean I paid for an extra thick cast iron frame. At the same time, it is much stronger than the typical smaller cage that can be bought cheaper. The wheels work well, the keys are cool, the lock is fine. It's durable and safe for my birds. All in all it was a good investment for me. I think one bass per set is fine, your bird will need different types of bass anyway!
