Not my favorites Markers

I bought these markers when I saw them on sale. I loved it, I love my Prismacolor crayons and respect the brand. I knew their Scholar line wasn't that good, but I never expected such poor quality. I have a pack of 10 balls. There was no orange in the pack, which was reversed when dyed. It also contained pink and red colors that were so close together in pigment that they could not even be distinguished next to each other (see picture of teapot). When dyed with them, the paper was torn even with very weak dyeing. The colors didn't go well together either. In the future I will paint with them more like with gel pens - in a circular motion - then I will paint with other markers. Also, the colors bleed through the page. Although all other markers I have do too. The best quality of markers is that the colors are bright and saturated. Perhaps the brushes are more satisfying though.

Pros
  • Water-based, low-odour, AP-certified bright ink
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
