We bought these for our two Jack Russells. They hang out in our fenced front yard and if someone comes by with a dog they go berserk and bark at just about anything throughout the day. We tried everything including the dog trainer who came to our house. Nothing worked. We were desperate. Put those collars on two days ago. We only had to use clay on our male and by day two I rarely used it. Our dog is stubborn and I had to stimulate her a couple of times, but she also learned to stop barking quickly. I also tell them to "silence" by pressing the signal. I tested the stimulation on my neck and at 4 o'clock you can feel it but it doesn't hurt. The collars are easy to set up with a remote control and last for days on a single charge. If you have more than one dog, you will need to purchase an additional collar. Thank god for this system. I had two full days of peace and quiet! You are allowed to bark, but nothing is out of control.
