I bought this 2-pack to reinforce my RV's awning, which was delaminating (coming apart) at the very top section (the part that is always exposed to the sun). Prior to applying, I followed some advice I got online for how to make this stuff stick, and it seems to be working:1.) clean off the area you're going to apply this stuff using soapy water.2.) clean the area again with a 50/50 mixture of water and Isopropyl Alcohol. I mixed these together in a spray bottle, and worked my way over the entire area.3.) apply the tape - slowly and carefully - making sure you don't leave any creases or wrinkles where air (and later water) could get trapped.4.) use a roller to go over the entire area to ensure the edges are sealed and any air bubbles worked out.I did this about a month ago, and the awning looks great (except for the areas of the awning that delaminated down to the fiberglass threads layer). Not sure how long this will last (the sun is the sun, after all), but even if it only buys me a year, it's a good temporary solution.
