The kit I received contained a 1/4" female connector on the 3 /8" fork was completely missing the groove inside that allows the detent ball on the ratchet to snap in and actually hold the adapter. As a result, he slipped very easily. It's enough of a problem that I got the set back almost immediately. It may have been a one-off defect for me, but I really don't trust any company that completely misses an important step in production and doesn't try their luck at another. Aside from that fatal flaw, the set looked okay for the price. I haven't had it long enough to actually use it, but there were no other obvious flaws. One of the main reasons I chose this Ares set over the others was the knurling, but unfortunately it was flat and poorly shaped so it didn't help the grip much. If you're looking at this set because you need a grippy knurl or want to use a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter at all, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
