Solid Radio in Marine GPS Chartplotters

Excellent radio. Replaced the 20 year old Standard Horizon. My plan was to power the GPS from the NMEA0183 chart plotter, but the internal GPS fixes after about 30 seconds despite being installed in a below deck navigation station (fiberglass sailboat). With a mast antenna, it has a long range.
