In the world of $80 pepper grinders this is a very good and affordable option. It's solid wood with all metal components, my last coffee grinder had plastic parts that wore out over time, but this one is much better finished. The inner chamber holds a lot of pepperberries, I cook often and only refill this grinder once a month or so. You can adjust the coarseness of the grind, but by adjusting the pull cap on top, although I don't notice too much difference in grind fineness before the cap becomes too loose to be effective. However, it throws out a nice big jet of freshly ground pepper with every spin, just enough that you get a teaspoon of pepper in a couple of spins instead of spinning endlessly. Love this grinder, it's excellent for its price range and has held up to daily use for the past few months with no signs of wear or breakage.
