I bought a used Intel X520-DA2 off eBay for one of my NAS devices and until my new SFP+ switch arrives I've added this RJ45 transceiver. It was immediately recognized by Synology and evaluated using a CAT7 cable directly between my Mac Mini (which is 10GbE) and Synology 10Gb. Once the switch ships I will move this transceiver to the switch and update this review if there is any compatibility between this 10GTek transceiver and the QNap SFP+ 10Gbit switch. The workmanship appears to be of high quality and well suited for an RJ45 connection. .Inexpensive and easy to install. Nice packaging.
