Review on 🔧 Highly Indexable Boring Shank Tool 1001 0201 by Brent Borseth

Let's start with the disappointment. The R8 rod thread was poorly cut, my rod only twisted a few turns. It was disappointing for a $200 head what you would expect from a $47 port freight unit. I was originally going to pull off a few stars until I used the drill head. I was very happy with the rest of the set. The boring bars were of high quality and a good set with reproducible carbides. After installing it on my grinder and drilling a few holes in half inch scrap I was pretty happy with it so I got 5 stars. I didn't think it was wrong to give a negative result when the tool worked very well as intended! Looks like it's the same set that Shars sells?
