For the price, this document camera is pretty good. Likes: - Very easy to use. I just plugged a USB cable into my PC, launched Zoom (or the camera app for testing), replaced the camera with the U50 and it worked. Clear image. True HD 1080p (2.1 megapixels). The auto focus function works great. Set the camera to the desired position and press the AF button once. It automatically focuses* and then maintains that focus* until you press it again. That means moving your hand in and out of the frame won't cause the autofocus (AF) to chase and seek and blur. Drivers are not required. Appears as a standard USB video device (like any webcam). I haven't tried the software yet. - Portable yet durable. - Using a cable. Power and data over a USB. Dislikes: Some dated design elements: Mini-USB port. Not only USB-C is missing, but also Micro-USB. Because of this device, I now have to carry a mini-USB cable (in addition to the iphone Lightning, USB-C, and MicroUSB cables). - The software is supplied on a CD-ROM/DVD. It's a bit outdated, people just upload stuff now. Overall a solid device for the price. Minus 1/2 star for Mini USB.
