I plug it into the USB port on my laptop and Windows 10 says it's setting up but when it's done it doesn't work. I downloaded Ublox UCenter, google it. And then it works perfectly, I changed it to 9600 baud to match the software I use, OpenCPN, a nautical chart software. OpenCPN is free, as are maps, so you can basically turn a laptop into an accurate GPS chartplotter for $20, the price of a GPS receiver. Works great, strong signal.
