We bought this filter to reduce the need to buy bottled water as I am finding it increasingly difficult to lift heavy crates of water. It was easy for my husband to install the filter, the water is delicious. It comes out with a thin but powerful stream of water. I have my container ready and underneath so it doesn't splatter all over the place. The water flows quite slowly, slower than a normal stream. There is a tab that you have to turn to switch from filtered to unfiltered water. I find it a bit difficult but I have arthritis which can be a problem. The water also became cloudy at some point. Cloudiness disappears quickly. According to the internet this was due to either pressure or air bubbles and nothing to worry about. The water is perfectly safe to use. We could not determine whether this is related to the built-in filter.
