I feel excluded! for USB network adapter

I read about this product and thought it was a very cool idea. My friend's wireless card stopped working, so I decided to try Sabrent's wireless USB 802N option. I bought her one as a Christmas present last year, installed it and was able to connect to the internet but the connection was very weak and put me off as much as it would have allowed me to connect to the internet. Since my wireless router was N-type like this device, I figured I'd have a strong enough connection to walk around, although in fact I wasn't even getting a good signal when I was just a few feet away. my router. Very disappointing! After a few weeks it all started to fall apart and I got sick because my girlfriend ran out of one of her Christmas presents and couldn't use her computer to study. Pros: Cool idea (when it worked) Cons: Can't get a consistent, reliable internet connection Product failed within a few weeks of purchase Makes me look like I bought my girlfriend a poor quality product (waste of money) I would suggest avoiding this product...it is poorly designed in my view.

Pros
  • Allows multiple receivers and transmitters to send and receive data with intelligent MIMO
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
