Better than the competition

I was pleasantly surprised by this USB Wi-Fi adapter. Sabrent has managed to create a simple and user-friendly product based on the Ralink chipset, and best of all, it's Linux compatible! It's actually easier to get this product working on Ubuntu than on Windows; On Windows you need to install the drivers and on Ubuntu all drivers are included. The adapter keeps the connection very well even in the immediate vicinity of the router. I haven't had a chance to test it on an 802.11n network or far…

Pros
  • Offers longer range and faster speeds

I feel excluded! for USB network adapter

I read about this product and thought it was a very cool idea. My friend's wireless card stopped working, so I decided to try Sabrent's wireless USB 802N option. I bought her one as a Christmas present last year, installed it and was able to connect to the internet but the connection was very weak and put me off as much as it would have allowed me to connect to the internet. Since my wireless router was N-type like this device, I figured I'd have a strong enough connection to walk around…

Pros
  • Allows multiple receivers and transmitters to send and receive data with intelligent MIMO
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
