I bought a lot of cat litter and this one does everything. I've been using it on rabbits for a year, but I can see most of the same things apply to cats. I love how deep the box is that contains everything. The sheer top lets me see my pet is inside and also closes it so they can eat hay and go about their business in comfort. (Some bunnies don't use an "outdoor" open box, but both love the thing, meaning they actually use it in place of the rest of the house!) The top is pretty flimsy, but honestly, does that matter? Yes, the top doesn't connect, but how would you clean the box if you couldn't remove the top? You can simply hold it in place with binding clips, tape it with Velcro, or simply squeeze it between two objects. rabbit leaves. I use the frame as a base for hay. The door opens when you need more air to prevent dirt (like a rabbit) from getting moldy. But the door and the fact that it's completely closed really keeps things tidy inside. It really only fits one 4-8 pound bun at a time. If you had two very small rabbits, this would work. If there was a much larger option I would buy it and use it on both rabbits.
