The assembly instructions were terrible. Too long for such a simple thing, we tried, not sure if it would be safe or a good idea, but when my daughter tried it and liked it, grandpa had to try it and even I tried it. It's a little weird to stop and turn off when the board won't go any further, but we're new to hoverboards. it's a blast. By holding each of us at a different height, the weight stayed connected to the board with no issues. it's worth the price, still would be if it were over $60, it's pretty hard to say yes to that. But now it's fun
