Review on πŸ—„οΈ NavePoint 15U Network Server Cabinet Rack Enclosure with Glass Door, Lock, and Casters – Wall Mount by Drake Burroughs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

very front heavy in computer accessories and peripherals

I chose this form factor for 3 main reasons: - it is a smaller device (fits in my closet) - it has wheels (wheels) - fully enclosed glass front . He's doing a great job with those grades. I give it 3 stars mainly for one reason and one that surprised me. It's not very stable! If you have children, be careful. If they hang in front, it easily tips over on them. When I was working on this, I installed a 2U backup battery on top. I just screwed in another 1U device and the whole thing (battery and all) almost fell on my head. I looked at different rack configurations to balance the weight but it's too heavy. I think you need to pay attention to the position of the front rollers. As for me, I've decided to live with it since I don't have kids and it stays in the closet. But I'll have to weigh my options if that changes. The rest is OK. It's louder than I expected (about 65-70 dB up close and 50-55 behind a sliding closet door). But hey, the cooling is actually good, so I'm fine with that. But you probably don't want this open when the fans are connected.
