
Can't say much. It is said that iridium (and possibly platinum as well) should not be pierced as you would damage them. I checked the releases anyway to make sure my releases are correct. Don't want to do two fork swaps, do you? It did a good job. .040 in my case for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 5.3L. I've used NGK Iridiums and Taylor 409 cables, let's see how they hold up.
