I used this rug in my bedroom. The subtle pattern and tassels caught my attention online and they are just as cute in real life! The material isn't as soft as some shaggy rugs I've seen, but it's plush enough that I really appreciate that it's not so dense that it's difficult to clean. I upgraded from a $35 Walmart rug I used and if you don't want to shell out a few hundred bucks for an extra thick plush rug, it's well made and worth the price for the quality value. Tried vacuuming with no problems. A bit slippery. So unless you have furniture that will hold it on multiple sides you will need a mat/handle.
