Review on 🔫 10 Inch Bates Silicone Caulking Gun by Mike Phillips

I bought this to replace a worn out caulking gun. When he arrived everything seemed fine until about 45-50ft hit 70ft. The pressure/friction plate started to fail and I couldn't pull the trigger other than 1/4 because it didn't go all the way into the push rod. Instead of releasing the trigger to get a new full trigger pull, I could now only get 1/4, or in other words only 1/4 full trigger pull. Shortly thereafter, the pressure plate was barely holding the bar. There are good pressure plate sealants, but this is NOT one of them. Very bad design. Stick with a notched caulking gun if possible.
