Review on Rectangle Silicone Making Durable Smooth by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible 😞.

Update: 12/23/2020 - I don't like these shapes anymore. After unwrapping a few of my soaps, I noticed my soap was wobbly on one side. In the sense that they are not straight. I am very upset about this. This wasn't the only case. A lot of the shapes I got were on the side like that. I haven't noticed that until now. Otherwise I would not order again. I also noticed that this mold is not 100% silicone. It's partially plastic and when my soap is released I can see parts of the mold turn white. This is not good, because when it comes into contact with heat, the shape of the mold changes. That's why I'm downgrading my review.—————————————————————— After some trouble I finally have these forms and I really like them. They are the perfect size for soap. To help deform, you can put your soap in the freezer for half an hour or less and it will separate easily. Then let them heal as usual. There is no need to add sodium lactate or harsher oils/oils to the recipe. Hope this helps and have fun.

Pros
  • Durable: Silicone soap molds are thick enough to hold the shape, durable.
Cons
  • Only available in white
