This mug warmer works well IF it works. Maintaining a temperature of "2" is preferred. My gripe, however, is that the on/off sensor doesn't stay on and turns off automatically, presumably from the pressure of my mug, which has a wide base. I have to keep checking the indicator light to make sure it's on as it often goes off even when the cup isn't moving. In my opinion it's not a good idea to have a touch power button at the top of the base where the cup sits. Otherwise the heating works well.
