2003 Tahoe: They replaced the stock shocks (with 222,000 miles) and my Tahoe ran better with the old shocks than these. For real. They're hard and sharp, and there's a ringing sound with every hit. Installation checked, everything OK, otherwise nothing repaired, i.e. shock absorbers. My sister's 2003 Suburban has the same shocks and noise as it did a year ago. At least now she knows what's causing the rattling in her SUV. These shocks have 20 miles on them and I'm replacing them. This is not an isolated case, one star because I can't put a zero.
