Review on πŸ’Ύ HyperX Fury 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 CL15 DIMM 1Rx8 Black XMP Desktop Memory Single Stick by Adam Boudreau

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So in the past there have always been great results with Kingston HyperX memory.

Bought 2 sets (8GB x 4) HyperX Fury 16GB (8GB x 2) 3200MHz DDR4 (HX432C16FB3K2/16) memory for my latest computer. The previous Kingston HyperX DDR4 2133MHz memory I used in my 2015 custom desktop system always worked flawlessly, so I went with the winning brand again this time. Unsurprisingly, that new 32GB of memory worked flawlessly in the new system, and the style and color of the low-profile DIMMs go well with my plain black/grey/silver "Stealth" with no RGB lighting. The default nominal plug and play RAM frequency for this RAM is 2400MHz for maximum compatibility purposes, but it has two default XMP profiles in BIOS that can be set to 3200MHz or 3000MHz. I set mine to 3200MHz and everything works fine. Below are my latest 1080p gaming, home/office and productivity PC builds: - CASING - CORSAIR ICUE 220T RGB Airflow ATX Mid-Tower (Black, x3 RGB fans removed) - FAN (S) - CORSIAR ML120 PRO 120mm Premium PWM Magnetic Levitation Fan with 4 Pins (Total 4 - 3 Front Intake and 1 Rear Exhaust) - PSU - SEASONIC PRIME Ultra 650W 80+ Platinum 140mm Compact ATX (SSR-650PD2) - MOTHERBOARD - MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (ATX form factor), Ryzen 3000 Revision Board with Advanced BIOS - CPU - AMD RYZEN 3700X 8-Core, 16-Thread Wraith Prism Cooler (with innovative 40 x 40mm Graphite Thermal Cooling Pad) - MEMORY - KINGSTON HyperX Fury 32 GB (4 x 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL15 DIMMs (HX432C16FB3K2/16 x 2) - WIFI ADAPTER - ASUS AX3000 Next Gen WiFi 6 Dual Band PCIe WiFi Adapter (PCE-AX58BT) - GPU - EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TI SC ULTRA GAMING (06G – P4-1667-KR) – INTERNAL BOOT/SYSTEM DISK - Enterprise Solid State Drive INTEL D3-S4610- Series (SSDSC2KG480G801) 480GB SATA 2.5 - INTERNAL SECONDARY Y DRIVE - WESTERN DIGITAL BLUE HDD 500GB SATA 2.5
