It does what it was designed to do and does it well.
I have used K&N filters on both cars and bikes and they always work great and last a million miles as they need to be cleaned and not replaced. They ensure better airflow to the engine and ensure better performance as well as better fuel economy. I just bought a new turbo car, drove it home and changed the air filter to the factory one with only 60 miles on it. I get more than 1.1mpg better than manufacturer rated fuel economy, which is rare. I would recommend N&K filters to others.
