Smart charger ideal for professional or home use

We have a car that is mainly used for recreation - rarely used, especially with COVID. We drove around the neighborhood once every few weeks, but the battery died over the winter anyway; Jumping didn't fix it. We were going to buy a new battery but settled on this one instead. With the help of the repair function, we were able to revive the car battery and save 150 euros. We were also able to bring the battery of the PowerWheels back to life. We were hoping it was magic the third time our friend's battery needed help this week but it was so badly rusted the battery was actually buckling and no miracle on earth could fix it. This Noco Genius 50 is an upgrade of the previous Pro25. , Genius 10 and G26000 and they have more features. Accordingly, it is larger and heavier. But you also get upgrades over all other models, like faster loading times. If you're a typical non-professional user who doesn't have a lot of cars to service, one of these smaller models should do the trick, but we'll be using this with heavy equipment as well, and bringing a brother who repairs cars. as a hobby. This model has quite a bit to offer, such as charger, maintainer, battery charger and even a repair function to de-sulfate the battery plates. You can use a variety of battery voltages (6V, 12V and 24V under both normal and cold cranking conditions) and many different types of batteries (regular lead-acid, gel, lithium and absorbent glass fiber [AGM] batteries). load. . ). There is also a 10A forced mode. Switching between all modes is very easy - one button for different battery voltages/taps and several more for repair functions and a 10A button. The product looks and feels professional. Everything from the carrying case and the charger itself to the plugs, cables and clips screams top quality. So many clips these days are plastic, but they are hard metal and won't crumble in your hands while charging. The cables even have the option to detach the clip and attach directly to the battery. The Noro holds all the different types of cables you will ever need rather than tipping them over and they all fit in the case. (Though we couldn't snag the 10-foot extension inside the case along with everything else. Understandably, these cables are thick: they're silicon cables with a thick, durable braided nylon jacket. Works very quickly. There are holes for wall mounting ( but we'll be using ours as a portable device). The dual voltage power supply is a great feature, and there are safety features like protection from overcharging when it's hot, or undercharging when it's cold, or don't screw up a day if you reverse polarity. There are indicators for high voltage, bad battery, wrong polarity and too high/too low temperatures.Although this product is very expensive to start with, that is my ONLY complaint. It's so easy to use and versatile it comes with a thorough manual for everything you can do with it (and the manual can also be found on the manufacturer's website). e). This is an investment that will pay off as we no longer need to buy batteries as often.

Pros
  • Progressive Power Supply - Dual voltage power supply - 12V (50A) and 24V (25A) - to maintain a constant power supply without unwanted ripple and noise. , as well as brief bursts when flashing, reprogramming and diagnostic testing of the control unit.
Cons
