These lights are very well made. The aluminum body and lens ring can be unscrewed if you ever need to remove the light. They are brighter than old incandescent bulbs. After all, they couldn't be easier to install. They are pressed in and seem to fit snugly. I'll find out more when I go on a long journey, but I don't expect them to move anywhere. I highly recommend them and have replaced all the 2.2" lights on my bus with them. Update: some of them fell out of holes. You may need to use double sided tape. 2 stars removed for this issue. Update: Lots of long rides with these headlights and they have stood the test of time. Very happy with these lights.
