Well done felters! I bought this part to fit a Yakima fork mounted bike rack after buying a new thru-axle gravel bike and I have to say I was hesitant, but after 5 hours of driving at highway speeds it hasn't moved! An impressive piece of steel. For the price unbeatable. Yakima charges twice as much for their adapter and the reviews aren't great. FYI - I have locking bars on a bike compartment skewer and this has given me more confidence that once engaged it will not come loose. Also, this adapter has a small protrusion that keeps it in place and prevents it from twisting/rotating on the fixed skewer (which is a big problem with the Yakima adapter and others). Highly recommended for a quick and easy pass-through plug adapter.
