I bought this product to secure my two bikes between my camper and my tow vehicle. Worked great until it broke. I was on a long trip, turning a corner about 10 miles from home, and noticed my bikes bouncing off the hood of my car, which was only held in place by tethers on the back of my van, which luckily worked. Luckily I was able to get off the road quickly, but not before the front of my car and the side of my van suffered very bad damage. because I damaged my car and my van, but I doubt that will happen. Do not buy this product as it is not safe.
