This is a great product, it fits me very well. Some reviewers state that they have trouble getting the hose to engage rather than retract when the air hose is pulled out. Just listen for clicking sounds as you pull out the hose. You must stop pulling on the hose when you hear it click, meaning it locks into place. I use this air hose reel every day in a professional workshop environment. this works very well for me. As for the mounting issues some have said no it has nothing to do with the mounting hardware, they have no idea what you are going to mount on. One of the assembly tips I can give you is to trace a mounting plate placed on a piece of paper to give you a pattern on where to drill the holes you need for your application. Just take your pattern, stick it where you want it, and drill the holes you want.
