It fits my 14" laptops and my old Sony 17" giant from 2013. Open the screen. This isn't enough to make it unstable, but keep this in mind if you're using large and heavy laptops. You wouldn't notice that on small and light laptops. It would be better if the manufacturer moved the vertical stand a little forward to bring a little more stability to the back with larger laptops. Overall, I appreciate the minimalist, unobtrusive design, since nothing can break and the space requirement is small.
