I ordered this camera to mount on the back of my 30ft trailer so I can see who is behind me on the track, and also to help secure in blind spots. The unit was very well packaged, inside the box was a monitor, antenna, license plate camera, monitor mount for the windscreen, various cables and connection accessories (not included in my photo) and a very well written user manual in English. The user's guide is written on high-quality coated paper, which came in handy when it got wet in a downpour in Florida; I hung it out to dry and it was like new. The monitor is surprisingly thin, no thicker than a cell phone. The windshield mount and monitor have a very strong magnet holding them together, making it very easy to remove the monitor when parked and/or not in use. The monitor plugs into the cigarette lighter or any standard car accessory plug. Although the camera is truly wireless, it also requires power. This can be achieved by hooking it up to the license plate light, although it will then only come on when the lights are on. Alternatively, it can be connected to any vehicle circuit that is energized while the vehicle is in motion. All wireless backup cameras require power; This is not unique to this device. So be careful where you get power from when ordering a backup camera. literally never happened. The image is clear, high definition, bright and stable at all speeds and continuously in full motion (see my video in this review). I have operated the device at night (very clear night vision) and the waterproof camera has endured heavy rain with no signs of malfunction. Overall, I would say that this device has exceptional build quality and its performance is solid. More importantly, the benefits and sense of security are worth every penny. I am a very happy customer.
