I bought this device in June 2020. In September he stopped sharpening knives. I have noticed a decrease in knife sharpening performance over time. Noticing that it wasn't sharpening either, I used the trigger on the back to regrind the wheel, following the manufacturer's instructions for keeping it hot for too long. I ended up taking the whole thing apart and found that there wasn't even sand left on the second wheel. It was just a steel wheel. I contacted the company because I used everything as stated in the manual and even if I used it incorrectly (which again I didn't) I still think a few months of performance was something which cost me about $75, it would be unreasonably small. . The company did not answer my calls or emails. One day the person I called assured me I could have a replacement, but at the moment they were sold out due to a big sell out. She said she would email me when they got more. It was a month or more ago. Disappointed with device and customer service.
