I use a vacuum sealer for my sous vide meals and the disposable nature of the bags has never worked for me. This is a great replacement. I mainly use them for chicken breasts, steaks or veggies and they are perfect. I have a snap-on sous vide lid so opening these lids still confuses me (can't just slide it over the edge without getting in the way of the lid) but I haven't had a single dive so far. I am currently using stainless steel clips to fold the pouch and attach it to the sous vode rack. I've read not to turn them inside out to clean which makes it more of a hassle but so far my stitches are intact so thanks for the warning!
