Received this as a gift. My Ember mug won't stay connected to my Android phone app even after trying all the troubleshooting steps on their website (my mug's firmware is up to date). Even when plugged in I couldn't adjust the temp, it kept going back to 135. I sent 3 emails to Ember support and received confirmation that they would reply within 2 business days. That was 8 working days ago. No Answer. The mug looks and feels good, but despite all the hassle with the app and charging the mug, I've found that maintaining the 'perfect' coffee temperature isn't that important to me. Don't get me wrong, it's an attractive idea, but it was too much trouble for me. Even if it came out of the box, I'm still not sure it would cost $130 to keep my mug at a specific temperature. Additional Notes: 1. A 14 ounce mug means 14 ounces to the brim of the rim. It practically holds 12 ounces. 2. I couldn't find the "User Guide" for the app on their website - it was very frustrating trying to run the app! 3. You need to create an account to use the app. I can't see why they need my email address for the app to talk to my mug via Bluetooth, so it was a bit pushy.
