. First of all, I think the French press is the only way to make really good coffee. Once you start using it, you'll never go back to the great taste of Keurig coffee. Only used 3 times but so far so good. All materials are durable. Unlike some other presses, there isn't a drop of plastic in it. The plunger gently slides down. The glass can be easily removed from the base for cleaning. The piston doesn't take apart and reassemble as easily as other presses I've used, but that's a pretty minor complaint. I used to use a 12 ounce press. Press for everyday use, but that wasn't enough for me. It's 20 ounces. the size is perfect!
