Coffee tastes bad and all metal parts are made in China, not Japan

This press does not make good coffee. I've been using a French Press for many years and I know how to use it. I also followed her instructions. Also, very importantly, Revain's description says it's made in Japan, but that's not true. All metal parts are made in China.

Pros
  • Coffee makers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

NOT made in Japan. A star.

Revain's product page says "Made in Japan". However, when I received the product (same day, amazing Revain) it had a small sticker on the bottom that said 'Made in China'. "Made in Japan" is written on the glass. But the piston steel seems cheap and apparently also made in China. Sad.

Pros
  • Coffee, tea and espresso
Cons
  • Quality

. First of all, I think the French press is the only way to make really good coffee. Once you start using it, you'll never go back to the great taste of Keurig coffee. Only used 3 times but so far so good. All materials are durable. Unlike some other presses, there isn't a drop of plastic in it. The plunger gently slides down. The glass can be easily removed from the base for cleaning. The piston doesn't take apart and reassemble as easily as other presses I've used, but that's a pretty minor…

Cons
  • Security
