diffusers are huge, I see. I wanted to love it but didn't think it was worth it after playing with it. The silicone idea is great, but it didn't stay on my blow dryer very well as it shifted and shifted slightly as I dried my hair. The plastic panel that vents air was slightly deformed and bent when I received it. I'm not sure if this was an intentional design or a bug. However, I was concerned about long term use as I am concerned that the bit will deform over time. The ribs holding the platter in place could be deeper than when I disassembled the unit it was a bit difficult to put back in place.
