Review on 📏 MILAPEAK Shrinkable Adhesive Pcs Inch by Josh Sharp

Purchased 1.5". I think this is a very good product but it doesn't work for my purpose. Too thick, requires too much heat, and I didn't need any glue. Guilty! I did not return the item as it will come in handy one day. Significantly more heat is required than standard single wall heat shrink tubing. That being said, this product is great for something that requires glue on the inside and a thick wall. Of course, whatever you compress must be able to withstand a lot of heat. I used a good heat gun on high and had to hold it 1-2 inches away for 1-2 minutes. Such an amount of heat could smoke and maybe even set a piece of wood on fire if applied directly. I squeezed it around the 5/8" glass rod and the tubing that wasn't on the rod shrunk a little less than the 5/8" rod. After it cools I can't remove the tube from the stem without cutting, which I haven't tried. Glue really holds! Normal shrink tubing would have slipped off immediately. After testing this product I purchased DOUBLESTAR 4 foot ID 2:1 polyolefin 30mm heat shrink tubing.
