Power Tool Vacuum Adapter

Excellent. Just what I needed to hook up the dust truck in my shop. Exactly the same as my dust cap which took me 2 to get it neat and tight.

Outdoor Elbow in Pneumatic Tool Parts & Accessories

2-1/2 Outdoor Elbow for Vacuum Systems. The outside has a 2-1/4 inch ID for female vacuum fittings. On the female side, 2-1/4 male fittings as well as 2-1/2 OD tubing can be used. Excellent!

Like boot knees

I needed a second bracket to connect the dust box to the Rigid ShopVac. This is indistinguishable from the one that came with the duster and connects beautifully. Also, Amazon did a great job with the packaging, seriously.

Too Big - Tubing

I couldn't fit this thing in the 2-1/4 hole. Tried 3 different ones. It's too big. Grinding didn't help. TO EDIT. The outside diameter is 2.280 and should be 2.230. I suspect the heat gun on the counterpart compensates for this. I haven't tried yet.

Fits Dustopper

Perfect 90 degree angle for my Dustopper. I placed the bucket over my shop vacuum, which helps with compactness, but also designed it to require two 90 degree elbows for installation, while the Dustopper only comes with one. This fits perfectly and completes the setup.

Expensive. I could see a more reasonable price around $4 but over $11 is too much. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The problem is, I've searched the internet top to bottom and haven't found anything cheaper.

perfect size and shape

I have a cut off saw with a rear outlet. The back of the saw rests against the wall, so I wanted a knee in the saw opening to make it easier to hook my 2-1/4" vacuum to the side of it. This part was perfect. The outside diameter of the end fitted well into the hole and the inside diameter of the large end matched my vacuum hose perfectly.

Works with minor modification

A small taper at the male end of this elbow. It only fits about 1/4" into my fine vacuum fitting. I was able to solve the problem by softening the ABS plastic with a heat gun, placing the fitting in a vacuum and allowing it to cool before removing it. Now it fits it perfect!I think a high powered hair dryer will work even if you don't have a heat gun.

Exactly What I Needed: Identical to Dust Plug Angle

I needed this elbow to connect the 3 foot hose from the dust plug to the vacuum after building a cart with the dust plug mounted above the vacuum. It was either this device or buying another hose that was too long for $30 or more. This fits perfectly and solved my problem. It is identical to the elbow that comes with the dust cap. It arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. I could take a few more because they are so hard to find.

AFTER ALL! One that really FITS my wet vacuum cleaner!

I bought 3 90 degree elbows from different manufacturers to assemble a small one tool dust collection system. The first 2 were almost the same diameter as the port on my 16 gallon hard wet vacuum. Useless without creating an adapter and using a hitch. This one actually tapers at one end and slides right in. Fits tight. The other end fits a 2-1/2" clear dust collection hose. It's a keeper! At my age I really didn't want to waste time making adapters/connectors.

Used on miter saw dust port

My retractable miter saw sits on a shelf and has a dust collection port on the back and I couldn't move it all the way forward without pinching the 2.5" collection Line dust going to my vacuum cleaner. This knee solved the problem. It works great and was delivered quickly; 4 stars given because the price is high for a plastic knee. It is very difficult to find a "street socket" for a 2.5 inch vacuum line, which explains the high price. Most of the 2.5" arches available from Revain or elsewhere…
