Review on 🧽 Non Skid Kitchen Rugs and Mats: Washable, Absorbent Runner Rugs for Kitchen & Sink - Beige (20"x47") by Amy Wheeler

I recently had a bad fall in a water spill and need a rug that won't slip on ceramic tile. I also wanted it to be absorbent (many non-absorbent mats get really slippery on the surface when they get wet, which is silly), but dry quickly, nice underfoot, and attractive. I've been looking for a long time. I found this one at Oates and it's really pretty, not plastic at all. Reminds me of soft jute. Doesn't slip at all - I can't push with my foot. It's thick enough to be comfortable but not so high that I might trip over it. It absorbs water and dries quickly. It's a few inches wider than regular mats, which I think works a lot better. Can't speak to durability yet, I'll post an edit if there are any issues - I'll just gently wash it in the shower as I think machines always kill items like this. Just ordered a 2 piece set from the same store for the rest of the kitchen. I think I'll buy it for the bathroom too. Excellent purchase!
