This is chain mail for your cast iron. Defend your home from intruders and get your cleaning mail on! Prepare, pour hot water, chain mail, dry, wipe with hot oil. Cast iron is starting to outperform newer non-stick coatings. This isn't a revolutionary invention by this particular brand, but (having used both) I like their rectangular size compared to the square size offered by other brands.
